The content of my YouTube channel

My YouTube channel stigekalder presents many videos with music by Johann Sebastian Bach and older members of his family (mostly vocal). The Bach family was important in the history of music for nearly two hundred years and produced over 50 known musicians and composers.

The focus has been choral music, but I am now also touring the keyboard sonatas by Scarlatti, and a certain Danish poem by J. P. Jacobsen, set by many Nordic composers.

If you like Bach (which I assume since you are here 😊), you may like Domenico Scarlatti as well? Both were born in the same miraculous year of 1685, which also saw the birth of George Frideric Handel.
